Across each of these themes, uncertainty, lack of clear government guidance, added costs and complexity will lead to potential disruption in agri-food markets from 1st January 2021 with an adverse effect on farm incomes. This comes on the back of a year where industry and those involved in government decision making have been focused on dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic and its impact on the UK agri-food supply chain.
