In this week’s vlog, NFU Cymru Deputy President Paul Williams reflects on recent hustings events as Wales approaches the upcoming Senedd Election.
Paul visited Aled Jones’ farm to see first‑hand a joint project being delivered by Bangor University and ADAS, focusing on slurry separation processes and innovation on farm. Alongside Abi, he also visited Kepak in Merthyr Tydfil to learn more about the business and its important role within the Welsh food supply chain.
The vlog concludes with a spotlight on the prestigious NFU Cymru Awards, with nominations now open for the Sustainable Agriculture Award and Wales Woman Farmer of the Year Award. Paul encourages members and the wider farming community to nominate individuals who are making a real contribution to the industry.
