This county meeting / visit will be to hear how the Williams family have successfully expanded and diversified their third-generation dairy business to support the next generation.
Starting from a 100-cow herd, the business has grown to 220 dairy cows while developing a range of successful diversification enterprises. Members will have the opportunity to learn more about the farm's direct-to-consumer approach, including its Llaeth y Bont milk vending business, pick-your-own pumpkin enterprise, and the development of its ice cream and cheese production.
The visit will provide valuable insights into business growth, succession planning, diversification, and adding value to home-produced milk.
