The new start date is set for the 1st June 2021, when Covid-19 restrictions are expected to have eased, to be able to introduce the additional measures successfully.
Due to the impact of Covid-19 restrictions on APHA’s capacity to deliver, and the uncertainty around the duration of these restrictions, APHA have taken the decision to pause the roll out of the three measures that were due to be implemented on the 1st February 2021 in ITBAN TB breakdown premises.
As in early December when APHA held virtual meetings with impacted vets, farmers and their representatives in the unions, APHA will again deliver communications on the additional measures during the month of May to ensure clarity on what will be changing.
