Montgomeryshire

We warmly invite you to attend our forthcoming county meeting on Thursday 24th September at the Elephant and Castle, Newtown

This meeting will provide members with an opportunity to learn about the next steps required to secure payment under the Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS). A presentation will outline the Universal Actions that must be completed to trigger payment and explain the requirements.

We will also discuss the key deadlines for completing each Universal Action and answer any questions members may have. If you are participating in the SFS, we strongly encourage you to attend, as the information shared will help ensure you understand the actions and timescales needed to receive payment.

The meeting will also be an opportunity to discuss the regulatory baseline review announced by Welsh Government in early July 2026. NFU Cymru are currently running a survey to capture members opinion on on-farm regulatory burdens to present to the team led by John Davies.

This meeting is also a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and raise any questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you there.
