We warmly invite you to attend our forthcoming county meeting on 16 June at Mold Golf Club

Guest speaker: Gwenno Puw from Farming Connect

This meeting will provide a valuable opportunity to reconnect following the lambing period and to look ahead to the summer months. Since our last meeting, there have been several developments, including changes within the Senedd, where a new party is now leading the administration. We will reflect on these updates and consider their implications for the sector.

We’re also delighted to welcome Gwenno Puw from Farming Connect, who will be sharing the latest updates on the support available to farmers across our region. As the Farming Connect Development Officer for Wrexham and Flintshire, Gwenno brings first-hand insight into the enhanced programme that is helping thousands of farmers and foresters strengthen and future-proof their businesses.

You’ll hear about the full range of services on offer — including business, technical and personal development support — and how these can help you prepare for and adapt to the new Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS). Many services are fully funded, with others subsidised by up to 80%.

To access the programme, you’ll need to be registered. Please note that anyone previously registered under the old programme will need to re-register.

This meeting is also a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, share experiences, and raise any questions you may have.
