Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) is one of the most significant infectious diseases affecting cattle herds in Wales. Additional legislative requirements have come into force since the 1st of July 2026- movement restrictions and a focus on identifying and removing PI animals.
Join us for an important update on the changes to the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) programme in Wales with John Griffiths Chair of BVD Cymru Steering Group at Tŷ Tanglwyst Farm by kind permission of Rhys Lougher & family.
This session will provide an overview of the new requirements and what the changes mean for cattle keepers and the wider industry. It’s an opportunity to gain a clear understanding of the updated approach to BVD control and ask any questions you may have.
Keepers will be able to log in to EIDCymru and view their holding and animal status following the coming into force of the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (Wales) Order.
Bring your CPH and CRN numbers with you so we can log you onto EIDCymru and help get you registered that night.
