NFU Cymru was pleased to welcome a number of MPs, Peers and Members of the Senedd to a Christmas reception in the House of Commons.

At the event kindly sponsored by Anthony Mangnall MP, the union’s President Aled Jones and Deputy President Abi Reader were pleased to engage with guests, including the strong contingent of Welsh politicians who came along.

Importance of food security

Also joining the event was Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt MP who delivered a speech during the event. The Chancellor addressed the importance of food security and pledged to work with the agricultural industry to ensure that food and farming businesses have the support they need to thrive.
