Wales Woman Farmer of the Year
Now in its 28th year, the NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual Wales Woman Farmer of the Year competition aims to celebrate the contribution of women in the Welsh farming industry.
The winner of the NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual Wales Woman Farmer of the Year 2026 award will receive £500 and a Welsh Royal Crystal bowl. The closing date for nominations is Friday 29 May 2026. The award will be presented on Thursday 23rd July on the NFU Cymru stand at the Royal Welsh Show.

Sustainable Agriculture Award
Now in its sixth year, the prestigious award seeks to recognise the unparalleled contribution Welsh farming enterprises make to the economic, environmental, social and cultural well-being of Wales.
The winner of this prestigious award will receive £500 and a commemorative accolade. The closing date for entries is Monday 25 May 2026.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at their farm by the judging panel in late May / early June.

Gareth Raw Rees Travel Scholarship
The Gareth Raw Rees Memorial Scholarship is once again on the lookout for applications from youngsters wanting to travel the world.
Last year, the Scholarship made £4,450 available for applicants considering travelling within the UK, Europe or further afield.
Past winners of the award have travelled to New Zealand, Australia, America, the Orkney Islands, Georgia, the Isle of Man and many other destinations.
If you are under 30 years old and would like some financial assistance with your travels, even if you have already received support from another scholarship or fund, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
