Digitial Connectivity: Information pack

Since January 2021, National Federation of Women's Institute - Wales, NFU Cymru, FUW, CLA Cymru and Wales YFC have been working together to focus on digital connectivity across Wales.

This partnership was developed in response to comments from members in rural areas that they were being greatly impacted by poor broadband connections and mobile signals.

The importance of good digital connectivity has become more and more evident. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we relied on internet access to keep connected with family, friends and our communities, for remote working and for accessing services. Good, reliable digital connectivity is essential for work, business, education, leisure and day-to-day activities.

The group has already met with industry stakeholders, had various webinars on this topic and have had discussions with Lee Waters MS
