WATCH: A message from the Deputy President

A new vlog from NFU Cymru Deputy President Abi Reader is now available to watch.

In this update Abi Reader discusses the union's regular meeting with the Deputy First Minister. This was the last meeting of 2025 and was an opportunity for NFU Cymru to raise key issues with the Minister. The key topic of discussion was the Sustainable Farming Scheme and the need to continue to evolve to ensure it can deliver for Welsh farming.

Abi also discusses the latest news on inheritance tax proposals.

As this is the last update of the year, Abi wishes all members a merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the whole team at NFU Cymru.
