Gwawr Parry - Welsh Speaker

Gwawr, who was raised on a sheep farm on Anglesey, now lives in Llanfair Caereinion with her husband James and three daughters. They have a flock of around 300 ewes with a renewed focus on their pedigree Texel enterprise producing shearling rams. The whole family get stuck in with the sheep and Gwenllian the eldest daughter is very fond of showing her Blue Faced Leicesters. 

After studying agriculture at Nottingham University, Gwawr worked with Genus ABS at their main stud in Ruthin before moving to Aberystwyth to work with Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) as a Flock Genetics Executive. Gwawr has also been part of the Farming Connect Agri Academy 2019.
