Joe joined the NFU as a Communications and External Affairs graduate in September 2024 after completing his Masters degree in Political Communication at Cardiff University, focusing on devolved politics in Wales and the communication strategies of UK politicians.

He also has a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Sheffield where he studied parliamentary and constitutional procedure and researched the psychology of political communication.
