She Who Dares Farms merchandise continues to raise money for charity

16 September 2020

NFU Cymru is pleased to announce that a further £1,000 has been raised for the DPJ Foundation from sales of the popular ‘She Who Dares…Farms’ merchandise.

The merchandise, including branded gilets, polo shirts and hoodies, has now raised over £4,000 since it first went on sale at the inaugural ‘She Who Dares Farms’ event in 2019.

Stella Owen, NFU Cymru County Adviser and organiser of the event, said: “Since launching the ‘She Who Dares…Farms’ merchandise we have been blown away with how popular it has been. The branded clothing has been sent all over the world, to countries such as Australia and Austria. It is also great to see many generations of families wearing the merchandise, with children’s tops now available for the next generation of farmers. These branded items have proved a great hit and a much-needed positive story during a tough time. With all profits going to the DPJ Foundation NFU Cymru is pleased to be able to support such a worthwhile cause.”

Kate Miles from the DPJ Foundation, said: “We are really pleased once again to work with NFU Cymru and support the ‘She Who Dares… Farms’ initiative.   I would like to thank everyone who has purchased merchandise and made a contribution to the DPJ Foundation, allowing us to continue to run our service which saves lives. We know that poor mental health affects men and women and living with a partner or parent who is suffering from poor mental health can be difficult. The DPJ Foundation continue to support all members of the agriculture community, including women and their families, providing support when they need it most.”
