We would like to hear what you think about these proposals and encourage all keepers, markets, abattoirs and other industry stakeholders to respond.

Changes to EIDCymru

Yesterday we launched the upgraded EIDCymru (sheep, goat and deer) system. The upgraded system will give users a better user experience along with paving the way for future multi species reporting. To register or to log on, please visit

Manage my CPH

Manage My CPH and the new CPH rules were launched in 2017, since then RPW have been gradually moving customers onto the system and under the new rules.

Since February 2021 a full team has worked to transition the remaining active keepers onto the system, this included the closure of over 19,000 inactive CPHs. To date, there are around 5000 CPHs left to transition, these keepers have all now been contacted.

As we announced in our livestock and movement consultation, it is our intention to make the use of Manage My CPH mandatory by 2023 and in doing this we ensure all keepers are following the same CPH rules.
