Hill and upland farming

The range of goods and services provided by farmers in Wales’s upland areas is unparalleled by any other industry and includes the provision of safe, high quality food; the shaping and management of our treasured Welsh landscape which supports a diverse array of species and habitats; together with the provision of a range of ecosystem services upon which we all depend.

The NFU Cymru LFA (Less Favoured Areas) Board represents the interests of upland farmers and is made up of members from the LFA areas of Wales.

Members can read the LFA Board minutes here.
