World School Milk Day

Since holding the first World School Milk Day celebrations in 2000, it has been recognised and honoured by over 30 different countries all over the world. The day continues to successfully promote the importance of drinking milk at school to children, in a fun, memorable and educational way.

It’s a real boost for the British dairy industry and a great way of teaching children and parents alike of the benefits of drinking milk. Milk provides a source of many nutrients including protein, calcium and vitamins B2 and B12 and at least three servings of milk, yogurt or cheese are recommended each day.
