The famous Sheep Show will be appearing at the Royal Welsh Spring Festival to entertain the crowds on the NFU Cymru stand.

The team of presenters will be entertaining and informing visitors with their fantastic sheep at the festival which is being held on the Royal Welsh Showground on Saturday and Sunday, 20 and 21 May 2017.

NFU Cymru Deputy President, John Davies said: “This will be the third time the Sheep Show will make an appearance at the Spring Festival.  The show brought in a big crowd at last year’s festival so I hope it will be the same again this year. In a subtle and entertaining way the show informs all ages about the hard work farmers do and how food is produced.”

Set on its own stage, with three breeds of sheep being introduced to music, the 30 minute show includes a shearing demonstration and some dancing – by the sheep!

The show will be performed up to four times a day during the festival weekend and backstage the sheep stars can be seen throughout the day. NFU Cymru staff will also be on hand to give out free goodies to festival visitors.
