Milk production and arable farming predominate the county. The milder coastal climate makes Pembrokeshire renowned for its ‘early’ potatoes.

To the north of Pembrokeshire lies the Preseli mountain range where the Stonehenge ‘bluestones’ originate. Sheep and beef production is favoured here.

The dramatic coastline of the county contained within the Pembrokeshire National Park draws tourists worldwide to the county. The Patron Saint of Wales, Saint David is commemorated in the Cathedral City which bears his name.
