The island known as ‘Môn Mam Cymru’ (Anglesey the mother of Wales) is situated off the North West coast and is the main ferry port in North Wales.

The island is renowned for its windmills, golden beaches and fattening pastures. The gently undulating landscape has little mountainous or hill terrain.
