NFU Cymru Organisation Structure

National Farmers Union of Wales - Organisation Structure

Local Branch Committees within each County discuss issues and decisions which are then passed on to a full Committee at each of the 11 County levels. NFU Cymru feel that the views of grass roots members is paramount to the success of our policies and decision making.

Welsh Boards decide and agree policies which are then put to politicians and officials when making decisions on agricultural issues in the Welsh Assembly. There are four main Welsh Boards; Welsh Livestock, Welsh Less Favoured Area (LFA), Welsh Milk and Dairy Produce and the Rural Affairs Board. Day to day activities rest with the Welsh Management Board.

NFU Cymru also has specific e-mail consultation groups such as Animal Health, Environment, Rural Development, etc.  To participate contact the Builth Office – 01982 554200
