11 - July - 2008One hundred years of NFU Cymru history goes online
NFU Cymru is marking its centenary year with the launch of a special website page looking back over its first 100 years. The special centenary page can be found on our main website or through entering www.nfu-cymru.org.uk/centenery.php. The page features information about the past and the future along with a list of past chairmen and presidents of NFU Cymru.
Dai Davies, NFU Cymru President, said: "If the history of the last 100 years proves anything, it is that the farming community and NFU Cymru make a winning combination, capable of rising to almost any challenge - and there\'ll be no shortage of those in the future."
In addition to launching the centenary webpage today NFU Cymru have organised a morning of memorabilia on their stand on Tuesday, 22 July from 10am until noon and are urging members to bring any memorabilia, from an old tie to a County Yearbook so that it can be logged in a special centenary register.
