07 - July - 2008A Morning of Memorabilia Re- acquainting Reminiscing and Refreshments

An extraordinary one off event has been organised to celebrate NFU Cymru’s centenary at the Royal Welsh Show.

NFU Cymru is urging members to bring any memorabilia, from an old tie to a County Yearbook, to the NFU Cymru stand on Tuesday, 22 July from 10am until noon so that it can be logged in a special centenary register.

Sarah Jones, NFU Cymru Public Relations Officer and organiser of the event said, “A centenary birthday is a very special milestone for NFU Cymru and this event is a fantastic opportunity for members to bring along any memorabilia so it can be logged in a register and add to the Union’s history.”

The morning will also be an opportunity for members to reminisce about ‘the good old days’ over light refreshments. If someone can not be present and would like their memorabilia to be logged please contact Sarah Jones at NFU Cymru on 01982 554200.
