07 - July - 2008Dr Prysor Williams to address Mid Gwynedd NFU Cymru County Meeting

Dr Prysor Williams, a teaching fellow at the School of Environment and Natural Resource, Bangor University will be the guest speaker at the next NFU Cymru Mid Gwynedd County meeting on Tuesday, 15 July 2008 at 7.30pm.

Held at the NFU Cymru Office Bryn Morfa, Caernarfon, all members are invited to listen to Dr Williams’ presentation on latest developments in seeking alternative methods to discard fallen stock. There will also be an update on the latest policy matters, livestock issues, current industry costs and local areas of concern.

At the meeting John Gwynant Hughes NFU Cymru past County Chairman will be presenting the first ever Mid Gwynedd NFU members county scholarship to the winner Osian Rhys, Hendy, Caernarfon. The details for the next county scholarship will also be announced.

Dafydd Jones, NFU Cymru Mid Gwynedd County Chairman said, “We are very grateful to Dr Prysor Williams, for agreeing to come and speak at the meeting.  I hope we will get a good turnout of local and county NFU Cymru members.  Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to come along.”
