Four young farmers from across Wales have financially benefited from this year’s Gareth Raw Rees Memorial Travel Scholarship. This year has seen the highest amount ever awarded by the Management Committee to scholars wishing to broaden their knowledge of agriculture, following a donation from the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust.

09 - July - 2008 Concern over rejections for the Organic Farm Scheme

NFU Cymru has written to the Welsh Assembly Government following a number of rejections for the Organic Farm Scheme, (OFS). The main reason for this is because members were unaware that they had to complete a separate application for the OFS scheme in addition to registering their interest in the scheme on the SAF 2008.
