Welsh dairy farmers are set to benefit from 3.55million euros of EU dairy fund support but NFU Cymru has heard today that a small number of dairy farmers may miss out due to the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) not having their bank details.
18 - February - 2010 NFU Cymru Welcomes Farm Income Figures
NFU Cymru has today welcomed figures published by the Welsh Assembly Government which show an increase in Total Income from Farming in Wales from £106.5 million in 2008 to £170.4 in 2009, an increase of 60%. Also according to the Farm Business Income survey, returns to individual farm businesses, incomes for ‘all farm types’ have risen from £31,300 in 2008-09 to an estimated £33,600 in 2009-10.
