This region is situated in one of the most panoramic areas within Wales.
Snowdonia National Park covers a large section of Mid Gwynedd with a high number of tourists visiting the area throughout the year.
One of the main attractions of the National Park is ‘Yr Wyddfa’ (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales which runs down to the pastures of the Llyn Peninsula. Beef and sheep farms dominate the agricultural areas. Unlike Anglesey, the area is rural and mountainous with some sections isolated and beautifully tranquil.
