Local farmers are invited to the next Anglesey NFU Cymru County Meeting, on Thursday, 26 May 2011, at Tafarn Y Rhos, Llangefni.
Open to all NFU Cymru members the meeting will start at 7.30pm. Richard Carter, from Gray’s Waste Company, will be present to update members on the plans for a bio-digester at Mona.
Dafydd Jarrett, NFU Cymru’s Policy Adviser, will provide an update for members. This will include information on Farmwatch diversification grants from Menter Mon and current policy issues. The floor will then be opened out to members who will be given an opportunity to raise any policy issues they have.
Dewi Jones, Anglesey NFU Cymru County Chairman, said, “This meeting is open to all members and I do hope we will get a good turnout. Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to come along.”
