Anglesey MP Albert Owen to speak at Anglesey NFU Cymru AGM

Albert Owen, Anglesey’s Member of Parliament, will be guest speaker at the NFU Cymru Anglesey County Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 6 January 2011.

Held at Tafarn y Rhos, Llangefni at 7.30pm, NFU Cymru members are invited to listen to Mr Owen speak of his work in Parliament on the Competition Commission and the Private Members’ Bill to establish a grocery market ombudsman. He will also speak about why he supports a new legislation to move the clocks forward by one hour to put Britain in line with Central European Time. Those present will then have the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session.
